Takaful Ikhlas plans to penetrate Europe


Expanding: Takaful Ikhlas aims for a better balance of its overseas and domestic contributions in the next three years from the current 40% and 60% respectively.

KUALA LUMPUR: Takaful Ikhlas Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Bhd, plans to penetrate the European market over the next five years, due to the increasing Muslim population in the region.

President and chief executive officer Ab Latiff Abu Bakar said demand from Europe was expected to be enormous with infrastructure there being developed by other reinsurance and insurance companies.
