PETALING JAYA: Advertising expenditure (adex) in the first quarter (Q1) of this year grew 15% to RM3.07bil from RM2.68bil in the previous corresponding period, with the biggest growth recorded by the cinema segment.
According to Nielsen Malaysia’s data, cinema adspend grew 147.8% year-on-year (y-o-y) in the first three months of 2014.
