KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's blue chips and key regional markets fell early Friday as investor sentiment was affected by the overnight tumble on Wall Street and weaker Chinese economic data.
At 9.05am, the FBM KLCI was down 5.92 points to 1,853.60 with analysts expecting more downside. Turnover was 102.78 million shares valued at RM47.97mil. There were 54 gainers, 274 losers and 154 counters unchanged.
