KUALA LUMPUR: Banks and plantations led the FBM KLCI to a higher close on Thursday, enabling the index to recoup nearly of its losses from the previous day but analysts said investors were still cautious as seen in the mixed market.
At 5pm, the FBM KLCI was up 9.11 points or 0.5% to 1,831.66. Turnover was 2.38 billion shares valued at RM2.09bil. There were 366 gainers, 453 losers and 324 stocks unchanged.
