YTL Corp profit jumps 46%

PETALING JAYA: Conglomerate YTL Corp Bhd posted a 46% jump in net profit to RM383.54mil for the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2013 compared with RM262.46mil it recorded a year ago.

This was achieved despite a drop in revenue to RM4.91bil from RM5.12bil in the same quarter last year, which brought YTL Corp’s half-year revenue to RM10.12bil, 0.8% lower than the RM10.19bil a year ago.
