Axis REIT to acquire RM380mil assets in 2014


KUALA LUMPUR: Axis Real Estate Investment Trust Managers Bhd (Axis-REIT) plans to acquire RM380mil worth of assets this year to give a 25% boost to its total asset of RM1.616bil.

Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Datuk Stewart LaBrooy said in comparison to 2013, which was not an exciting year for acquisitions, the company views 2014 as an opportunity, expecting to add a further RM350mil to RM400mil worth of assets to its portfolio.
