Puncak Niaga sets up Myanmar office to explore water-related opportunities

PETALING JAYA: Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd has set up office in Myanmar, namely Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd (Myanmar Branch), to explore potential water- and waste water-related business opportunities in the country.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the group said the setting up of the Mynmar branch was funded via internally generated funds and was not expected to have a material effect on the earnings, net asset or gearing for its financial year ending Dec 31, 2014.
