KLCI closes at fresh high on window dressing


KUALA LUMPUR: Window dressing sent the FBM KLCI to its highest ever close on Tuesday, with the 30-stock index at 1,850.90 on local fund buying of banks, plantations and Petronas stocks.

At 5pm, the KLCI closed up 13.02 points. Turnover was 1.08 billion valued at RM1.545bil. There were 388 gainers, 362 decliners and 335 counters unchanged.
