KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s blue chips closed slightly higher in volatile trade on Thursday underpinned by buying interest in the afternoon session in line with the firmer regional markets.
At the close, the FBM KLCI was up 1.02 points to 1,771.37. Turnover was 1.84 billion shares valued at RM1.29bil. There were 351 gainers, 402 losers and 316 counters unchanged.
