KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI extended its gains at midday Friday after four days of losses supported by banks and blue chips as investors confidence regained, reflecting the firmer Asian markets.
At 12.30pm, the KLCI rose 4.62 points to 1,778.78. Turnover was 1.31 billion valued at RM687.74mil. There were 341 gainers, 282 decliners and 301 counters unchanged.
