Hong Leong Bank sets up ops in Cambodia

KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Bank (Cambodia) Plc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hong Leong Bank Bhd, celebrated the opening of its first banking operations in Phnom Penh last Friday, allowing it to serve business and retail customers in Cambodia.

The opening ceremony was officiated by Hong Leong Bank Cambodia chief executive officer Joe Farrugia, Hong Leong Group executive chairman Tan Sri Quek Leng Chan, chairman of Hong Leong Bank Cambodia board of directors Raymond Choong, and joined by members of the bank’s board of directors and senior officers.
