SYDNEY: Australia's central bank held the official interest rate steady at 2.75 percent Tuesday, with an uptick in the economy expected over time and hopes for a further fall in the mining-powered dollar.
Inflation is currently running at 2.5 percent, well below the bank's upper target limit of 3.0 percent. - AFP
