P.I.E. positive on box-built business

GEORGE TOWN: P.I.E. Industrial Bhd’s new original equipment manufacturing (OEM) for electronic box-built devices and equipment for the pay-cable television and medical device sectors are expected to be a significant contributor to the group’s 2013 revenue.

P.I.E. managing director Alvin Mui said the box-built business would generate about 30% of its revenue this year, compared with about 10% in 2012.
