Petronas seeks LNG partners Company in talks to develop business in Canada


KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) is still in discussions with several possible partners to develop the liquefied natural gas (LNG) export business in Canada.

Petronas vice-president of global LNG Adnan Zainal Abidin said the state-owned energy firm intended to hold about 50% in Canada’s Progress Energy Resources Corp, adding that the final investment decision in that country would be concluded by the end of next year.
