Country Heights net profit surges


PETALING JAYA: Country Heights Holdings Bhd’s year-on-year net profit for its first quarter ended March 31, surged by 14 times to RM18.93mil from RM1.34mil on the back of revenue rising as well to RM85.8mil from RM46.71mil. No dividends were declared.

The company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that revenue rose due to an improved performance from its property development division, which saw sales of land at Country Heights Damansara and higher sales recorded at Country Villa, Country Heights Kajang.
