BHIC completes yacht hotel Sunborn III is the first luxury floating hotel to be built in South-East Asia

KUALA LUMPUR: Boustead Heavy Industries Corp Bhd (BHIC) has completed the first luxury floating hotel built in South-East Asia – the Sunborn III for its Finnish client Sunborn Marine.

“We are pleased to have completed the project, which gave Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd (BNS) the opportunity to utilise its commercial construction capabilities, but on a much larger scale, given the size of the vessel,” said BHIC executive director David W Berry at the handover ceremony between BHIC’s associate BNS and Sunborn Marine (M) Sdn Bhd yesterday.
