PETALING JAYA: Petronas Dagangan Bhd
has been given the green light to issue up to RM2bil in a sukuk programme, pursuant to which Islamic commercial papers and Islamic medium-term notes may be issued from time to time.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the proceeds would be utilised to finance the issuer’s capital expenditure, working capital and syariah-compliant general corporate purposes besides financing the cost of the establishment of the sukuk programme.
