Tenaga Nasional Q2 net profit at RM1.2bil

KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd posted net profit of RM1.2bil in the second quarter ended Feb 28, 2013 based on revenue of RM8.85bil.

The power giant said on Thursday the positive results were attributed to steady demand and the strengthening of ringgit against yen.

"After adjusting for forex gain, net profit before forex translation was reported at RM883.5mil," Tenaga said.
