KUALA LUMPUR: Global sales of semiconductor equipment fell 19.7% to US$1.07bil in the February 2013 from a year ago and fell 0.2% from January but the US-based trade body expects a mild pick-up in the first half of the year.
The Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturers Industry (SEMI) said late Thursday the February worldwide bookings, which was a three-month average, fell from RM1.34bil in February 2012 and from the final January 2013 level of US$1.08bil.
