SEOUL: South Korea's exports fell sharply last month as the yen's slide on Japan's stimulus policies hit South Korean manufacturers, delaying a quick economic recovery and underscoring the depressed state of global demand.
South Korean exports fell 8.6% in February from a year earlier to US$42.33bil, data from the Ministry of Knowledge Economy showed, similar to an 8.3% drop seen in a Reuters survey and following a revised 10.9% rise in January. Reuters
