SYDNEY: Australia's biggest global insurer QBE said Tuesday it planned to cut annual costs by US$250 million and move 700 jobs to Asia over the next few years, as earnings came in below expectations.
The insurance giant confirmed reports that hundreds of jobs would move from Australia, the United States and Europe to cheaper countries in Asia.
