KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Bank Bhd's earnings rose 45.5% to RM508mil in the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2012 from RM349.07mil a year ago, driven by higher non-interest income and improved operating efficiencies.
It said on Friday revenue increased by a marginal 0.5% to RM1bil from RM999.47mil. Earnings per share were 28.98 sen compared with 22.17 sen. It declared an interim dividend of 15 sen per share.
