AZRB signs RM1.55bil East Klang Valley Expressway deal


PETALING JAYA: Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd (AZRB), via its wholly owned subsidiary EKVE Sdn Bhd, has executed a concession agreement worth RM1.55bil with the Works Ministry for the design, construction, completion, operation, management and maintenance of the East Klang Valley Expressway.

AZRB said in a note to Bursa Malaysia that the concession period shall be for a period of 50 years, adding that the Government had agreed to provide a loan amounting to RM635mil at an interest rate of 4% per annum.
