VEGOILS-Market factors to watch Feb 13(Wednesday

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 13 (Reuters) - The following factors are likely to influence Malaysian palm oil futures and other vegetable oil markets. FUNDAMENTALS

* Malaysian palm oil futures ended just slightly higher in rangebound, thin trade on Friday, posting a marginal weekly gain as traders remained cautious ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.

* Chicago wheat prices fell to a seven-month low on Tuesday after much-needed precipitation provided some moisture to the drought-stricken winter-wheat growing area of the United States.

* Oil prices rose on Tuesday after the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said world oil demand would increase faster than previously expected in 2013 and OPEC raised its outlook for the amount of crude it will need to pump this year. MARKET NEWS

* The yen rallied on Tuesday, reversing the previous day's late selloff against the dollar and euro after an official with the Group of Seven said it is worried about excess moves in the Japanese currency.

* Oil prices edged higher on Tuesday after a bullish demand outlook from both OPEC and the U.S. government while copper was boosted by expectations of stronger buying after a week-long holiday in China. RELATED NEWS
