Golden Plus chairman resigns

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Abdul Halim Abdul Rauf has resigned as chairman of Golden Plus Holdings Bhd due to an inability to perform his duties effectively.

“Unable to perform his function effectively as the board is not getting the necessary cooperation from the company’s subsidiaries in Shanghai and Hong Kong, namely, Yanfull (Shanghai) Co Ltd and Yanfull Investments Ltd, in complying with management requests and the board’s decisions with the required sense of urgency,” was the reason stated by Golden Plus for the chairman’s resignation.
