AirAsia Group carried 33.8m passengers in 2012, up 13% on-year


KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia Group carried 33.826 million passengers in the financial year ended Dec 31, 2012 (FY12) an increase of 13% from the 29.859 million carried in 2011.

The low-cost carrier said on Monday the increase in FY12 was also in line with its capacity, based on the number of seats flown, which rose 13% also to 42.423 million from 37.505 million.
